When Is The Best Time To Take GT12?

As a whole, Humans are habitual by nature. The usual norms are waking up, morning routine, work, lunch, go home, dinner and sleep. That is where the similarities end.

Anything in between is controlled by Family, Work, Shift-work, School, Hobbies, Friends, Vacation, etc. Our bodies are based on a 24hour time clock also known as “Circadian Rhythm” that regulates our wake/sleep cycle and body function.

So when is the right time to do GT12 (or any type of exercise)?


The internet is filled with information regarding this topic. There, theoretically, isn’t any concrete evidence on the best time to exercise; however, studies have been done to determine this. Working out or exercising in the morning gets it out of the way and can boost energy to start the day as your heart and body temperature takes a while to normalize.

Having said that, you should allow yourself a little more warm-up time, in the morning, before exercise. For most, exercising after work is more convenient. It can be easier to find a rhythm as opposed to waking up and your body is more alert.

The one thing you don’t want to day is exercise and eat right before going to bed. Your body needs the time to wind down for sleep or get into the rest zone (lower heart rate and body temp). Exercise and eating increases heart rate and body temp. This can jeopardize your sleep.


Working out at lunch is kind of a compromise of both. It’s time off work and you get it out of the way. You just need to make sure that you don’t exercise immediately before/after you eat. Allow yourself 90min to digest food or immediately eat after you exercise. However; time can be a factor as lunch breaks can be short for some.

So to answer the question “When is the best time to do GT12?" It is up to you to find out what works best for your lifestyle. I would suggest trying all three for a few weeks each and see what works best for you.


This will make you feel better, more energized and easier to make exercising or GT12 a habit. Exercise shouldn’t be a stressor but a way to living a healthy life. Your life is your greatest investment.
