Try these dynamic chair stretches at home!

For older adults, people who have challenges and struggles stretching on the floor, or have significant mobility issues, Logan is working with a kinesiologist, Kyle, to give you a number of stretching exercises you can do with a chair or elevated surface!

Kyle recommends stretching with a "5 out of 10" intensity. There should be no pain, and breathe out as you move into the stretch. 

The stretches for you to try are: 

  • Seated Spinal Rotation - 10 reps each side
  • Seated Hip Stretch with Hinge - 10 reps each side
  • Standing Quad Stretch with Partial Lunge - 10 reps each side
  • T-Spine Stretch - 10 reps
  • Lat Stretch with Spinal Rotation - 10 reps each side
