The Post-Workout Time-Savers To Add to Your Gym Bag

Life is busy, we get it.

It is not an easy task to incorporate and, especially, keep up with a workout routine when you just have so much to do in 24 hours! However, there are some little things that you can do to optimize your gym time and help you stick to the habit more easily. One powerful hack is to carry a well-equipped gym bag that will make your post-workout routine way more efficient!

1. Face wash (duh)

Make sure to purchase a face wash that cuts the sweat, but doesn't dry your skin out (because if you're an everyday gym-er, you'll be washing your face pretty often)!

2. Moisturizing shower cream 

When you're still sweating after you shower because you had a wicked workout, we doubt you want to slather up in moisturizer. 

Pick a shower cream that doubles as a moisturizer to save yourself time, and that weird feeling of your cream mixing with sweat (don't pretend like you don't know what we're talking about). 

3. BB or CC Cream 

Applying foundation post-workout can get messy. Bathroom lighting isn't the best makeup lighting–unless you've checked out the bathrooms at some of our Gold and Platinum clubs... that lighting is pretty lit. 

Choose a BB or CC cream that is easy to apply and can adjust to your skin tone. Even better that it doubles as a facial moisturizer. This will save you time in the morning, and touch-ups later!

4. Dry Shampoo (double-duh) 

If you don't have time for a full shower, or have a head of hair that doesn't exactly do well without post-shower styling, dry shampoo is your best friend. 

With so many on the market, you can choose environmentally friendly ones, ones that match your hair colour, or even DIY your own! 

5. Moisturizers to reduce redness

Let's face it, if you had a good workout, it's likely you're going to have a little glow. That's normal! But if you have a tendency toward a tomato face long after you've left the gym, you might want to seek a little assistance.

6. Underarm deodorant wipes 

Skipping a post-workout shower, but don't want to offend your colleagues? Baby-wipes are great, but they may not come with the anti-bacterial strength needed to combat underarm odour.
