On July 1st, we celebrate Canada's 152nd birthday! 

It's a big day across the nation, but, if you're in the Lower Mainland, it's always a party. 

Here's a bucket list of things you can do on Canada's birthday!

Surrey Canada Day
Date: July 1
Time: 10AM - 10:30PM
Location: Bill Reid Millennium Amphitheatre

Come by and say hi to celebrate with +25 food trucks, 15 amusement rides, and a ton of great musical performances from the likes of Bif Naked and Our Lady Peace!

Canada Day by the Bay
Date: July 1
Time: 10AM - 10:30PM
Location: White Rock Beach (West Beach)

Relax and take in the breathtaking view of White Rock Beach with a wide-variety of family-friendly activities with amazing musical performances, awesome vendors, and fireworks that'll pop off at around 10:15PM! 

Canada Day Block Party
Date: June 30
Time: 1PM - 9PM
Location: Red Truck Breweries

The day (and night) before Canada Day, you can celebrate the country's birthday in the heart of East Vancouver at the Red Truck Breweries back lot. 

There'll be an outdoor stage, beer garden with giant beer pong, special guests and plenty more from 1PM to 9PM. PS, they'll have musical performances too!

Canada Day at Canada Place
Date: July 1
Location: Canada Place and surrounding streets

Known as western Canada's premier Canada Day event for over 30 years, they're bringing the community together again with a loaded list of events! 

From a heartwarming Citizenship Ceremony welcoming 60 new Canadians, to daytime performances headlined by Delhi 2 Dublin, to awesome food trucks, and a fireworks show, it's bound to be one of the best experiences of the year!

Steveston Salmon Festival
Date: July 1
Time: 6:30AM - 5PM
Location: Steveston Village, Richmond

This special festival includes a special themed parade and Steveston's famous salmon barbecue; expect over 1200 pounds of wild salmon filets grilled over open fire pits. Yum! 

At $16 a plate, you can get an authentic taste of BC! Get there early, or they'll run out fast!

O Canada Day
Date: July 1
Time: 8AM to midnight
Location: Granville Island

Granville Island is going to be one heck of a party, with a huge event calendar planned for Canada's birthday! From arts and crafts, to kids stuff, visual arts, parade and ceremony, food and drink, and live music, the whole family can get in on the fun. 

Around every corner, down each path, there'll be live entertainment, family activities, art, and mouth watering food!
