Josh began his journey as an SNFC member 10 years ago.
After working as a Red Seal Journeyman Welder for over 10 years, his decision to enroll in the BC Personal Training Institute (BCPTI) and become a Personal Trainer was a significant career change, and one he hasn’t looked back on since. We caught up with Josh recently and asked him the following questions.
Why is Health & Fitness Important to You? Why Did You Chose to Pursue BCPTI?
Health and fitness are the foundation for living a happy and healthy life. I really believe it can change anyone’s life regardless of age, experience or fitness level.
While training for two body building competitions, I considered becoming a Personal Trainer. While training at the Steve Nash Morgan Crossing Sports Club I was approached to become a Personal Trainer. BCPTI’s in-depth program and internationally recognized certification really stood out. Since graduating from BCPTI, I’ve continued to learn and develop through SNFC continued education programs.
What’s Been Your Best Moment with #TeamSNFC?
After training a client, I found a note from my Fitness Manager, thanking me for being an inspiration and being part of the team. I have never felt so accepted in a workplace, we support each other and our personal goals – it’s had a huge impact on me.
“Every day I leave work knowing that I’ve helped make someone’s life better…”
