You may know Molly from her inspirational fitness account (@molsinspire) and have been following her journey for a while. She crushes her fitness journey at Kelowna Fitness World, and we are proud to call her an SNFC Ambassador.
Molly began her weight loss journey around the age of 19.
She had struggled with her weight for a long time, until she finally decided she needed to do something to make change her lifestyle and get healthy once and for all.
After losing about half of her goal weight through a diet change, Molly began incorporating fitness to see the changes she wanted to get to.
At first, Molly focused on cardio–running, elliptical, etc.–to reach her goal weight. With determination and patience, she started seeing the results she was looking for.
This worked for Molly! But as she saw the changes on the scale, she felt the changes internally. As she lost the weight, she started to feel mentally different. Her goals went from how she looked, to how healthy she felt.
I think one of the coolest things about fitness is that you are always able to grow, there’s always potential to do better.
When major weight loss is a major goal that you know will take a long time, it can be hard to stay motivated. It's a long road that can get tedious, let you down, and be confusing. That's why finding a way to stay on-track is important. For Molly, that meant tracking her weight through her journey and her strength.
The last thing you want is to take one step forward just to take two steps back.
Recently, Molly has started working with a personal trainer at Kelowna Fitness World to build her muscle, regain mobility and strength in her hips... and of course build a great booty!
As she moves forward with her fitness journey, she's focused on how to treat her body right–fuelling it with nutritious foods that will power her personal training sessions–and being mentally aware and comfortable in her own skin!
