Peter weighed over 200 lbs in Grade 6. He was an athlete and began training at the gym at young age, but never saw real change until committing to Steve Nash.As a high school athlete, Peter continued with sports beyond school - from skiing to beach volleyball, and hiking. Peter was a Vancouverite through and through. Along with this, Peter would workout nearly everyday at the gym to give him the strength in his everyday life.
Working out at the gym has been a part of my life since elementary school. It just makes me stronger, keeps me healthier, releases stress, gives me a better night's sleep and gives me great joy. Not only do I feel better, I look better and perform better at my job, doing work around the house, and in my competitive and recreational sports.
His fitness journey sounds perfect. But in reality, he was also struggling with depression, eating disorders and was constantly battling weight gain.
Over 35 years since his success story began, Peter finally feels in control of his weight. Losing 100 pounds over the last 7 years, Peter now weighs in at 170 lbs.
With the help of various personal trainers and other staff, Peter consistently changes up his routine - from what he eats to his exercises to ensure he sees the changes or consistencies that he wants. He has even been able to transition from a routine using mainly free weights, to making use of the variety of equipment available at the Brentwood Sports Club.
Steve Nash gyms are always on the cutting edge, investing in new technology and equipment while still keeping the popular older designs in new condition and available if they are still in demand.
With flexible hours, Peter has been able to make a schedule that works for him on any day of the week. At 5 a.m. or 10 p.m., Peter is able to squeeze in a workout to keep him on track and in the best shape of his life.
