Cardio Tips for People Who Hate Cardio

 1. HIIT Training

HIIT gets your heart pumping quickly. The best part? It won't last long! 

Most HIIT only lasts about 20-30 minutes. Have you heard of Tabata? It works with the HIIT method, where you have a few exercises that you run through, stopping for around a minute in between. 

You can even change it up each workout, or add on a short burst at the end of your workout for good burnout. 

Try exercises like jumping jacks, jump squats, sprints and lunges.

2. Hiking or Cycling

Take your workout outside with some friends by going biking or hiking. Plan a weekly hike with a decent incline to also add in a minor glute workout. 

Or schedule in a bike ride along your favourite trail after a long workday. Getting out in nature, plus boosting your heart rate can help you to destress and get a great sleep. 

3. Battle Ropes or Pushing the Sled

Make your cardio a full-body workout by trying out the battle ropes or pushing the sled. You'll forget just how hard you're working because you'll be too busy feeling like a badass.

4. Get a Fitness tracker!

With a fitness tracker, like a Fitbit, you can keep track of heart rate and active rest. Set goals for yourself daily to make sure you are getting your cardio in!
