Skills are like muscles - use it or lose it! Did you know that contrary to long-term belief the brain actually does/can make new neurons throughout a lifetime?! Brain plasticity can be improved by learning new skills that challenge your cognitive limit. It’s key that the new skill demands your full attention and interest in order to optimize brain function ❗️Activities that require focus and motor control are even better! Case in point: kettlebell work strengthens your body through a whole range of motion that requires you get into the correct mental zone, lest you drop the damn thing on your face 🀣 Not all meditation is meant to be static!
