You have all these goals you want to accomplish, but you don't know where, when, and how to start. Well, luckily for you, Steve Nash Fitness World and Sports Club offers Personal Training with certified, globally-recognized Personal Trainers.
But, there's an abundance of great trainers at every gym, making it difficult to choose who you want to work with to achieve the results you're looking for.
Don't worry, we've created this little guide that'll help you decide who you want to work with, and how you can be successfully accommodated.
Step 1: Ask yourself what you want to accomplish
The first thing to help you narrow that search is by listing what goals you have, and what kind of results you're looking for.
It could be a mix or one specific milestone; whether it's to enter a powerlifting competition, bodybuilding showcase, lose 30 pounds, or recover from an injury, trainers have a variety of qualifications to help you achieve your goals.
So, if you see, have been told, or introduced to someone with a specialty in what you're trying to achieve, that's a box you can tick off!
Step 2: Your availability and schedule
Your calendar will be important for both you and your trainer to book training sessions, and accommodate your daily activities.
Some trainers have different schedules, especially because many are training with more than one person at a time.
A set schedule will filter unavailable trainers who already have clientele during those times, and give trainers an idea of when and how they can work with you.
Timing is key, and if you come across a trainer that can be with you consistently during the free moments within your busy day, that's another box ticked off.
Step 3: Try it out
Just like dating or making new friends, you aren't going to have a long-term connection with someone after one day. Unless, it's love at first sight. Or in this case, a perfect first session.
One suggestion is to try it out, and with a variety of trainers.
Some trainers are a better fit for what you're looking for. Some personalities motivate you to keep coming in because you feel more comfortable around them, or they're able to accommodate different restrictions or requests you have.
It's a balance, and a simple trial session with a trainer can help you decide if this is the route you'd like to go.
Remember: If a trainer has a willingness or qualification to assist you in achieving your goal, has the time and ability to work with and around your schedule, and a good, motivating personality that makes you feel comfortable, then you might've found the right Personal Trainer for you.
